Voting Majorities

The Belgian Civil Code provides four majority levels for general assembly decisions: simple majority (50%+1 of those present), 2/3 majority, 4/5 majority, and unanimity. Simple majority applies to routine decisions. 2/3 is required for major works and regulation changes. 4/5 for modifications to the base deed and reconstruction. Unanimity is needed for dissolution of the co-ownership.
